There are people who think they can change Mario's butt just in time for the movie, just like they did with Sonic in the Sonic movie… butt here's the thing:
1. The movie is slated for April of next year. Making such a change at this point may delay the movie and probably annoy the animators (I don't know all the rules of CGI).
2a. Changing Sonic's face for the movie: concerns for accuracy.
*2b (or not). Changing Mario's butt for the movie: perverted.

According to modern theory where actors can only portray characters within their sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or color, logic dictates that Mario must be voiced by an Italian actor. As an Italian I’m deeply offended that Chris Pratt is voicing the character. This is blatant racism at its finest and both he and the movie must be canceled !!! 😜

C'mon guys, I've been saying this since the Christ Pratt announcement… CHRIS PRATT IS NOT VOICING MARIO, he is voicing the GUY WHO CONTROLS MARIO. They'll pull of a Jumanji or something that will pull Chris Pratt into the game, that's why in today's trailer he looks confused when he arrives to the Mushroom Kingdom thru a pipe… Also he falls from the pipe, only amateurs do, and REAL Mario is no amateur
