That doesn’t seem like a good score lol.
After I heard about the constant dodging attack and getting screwed over when fighting multiple enemies, I decided to pass on getting this game.
I’ll watch your play through of it now though
I think one of the biggest issues was once everyone found out how short the game was for its price point, some already were setting their vendetta to shit on the game at first chance they could. I personally enjoyed watching and playing this game and hope that we could see a potential sequel in the future.
I don’t think it’s a hot take to like this game. This was fun — gameplay was challenging, graphics look amazing, etc. But a few quality of life things that are now standard in the industry were missing. You couldn’t skip cut scenes which made dying during the final boss fight annoying. Healing was also an issue — why is the animation so slow? I had to play the entire final fight one hit from death because it was pretty much impossible to heal. Also, this is a single player experience and the story was lackluster. Lots of storytelling in the “audio” logs which are displayed through telekinesis? It made finding more out about the world a tad annoying having to remember to read the subtitles otherwise you might miss something.
I absolutely agree 100%! I think the game absolutely slaps! Close to finishing it myself and will be going back for the platinum. Weird that there’s no new game plus at launch but I do like it a lot. It’s problems are very noticeable like the janky combat but it was never as much of an issue for me as much as it was for others. I’d say it’s one of the most fun games I’ve played this year. These linear story driven games are my bread and butter. Glad to hear you liked it too!
i hear ya on this but with games being $77 with fees and tax i can't put almost 80 up for a 10 hour game with no New Game+ or varied gameplay.
