Plac and Midir are my favorite dragon fights, but this one edges out Midir because of the arena you fight in.

Just beat him this morning. So satisfying.
I actually kind of feel sad fighting this thing now. Placidusax was really just peacefully residing in the center of Faron Azula waiting for his god to return. Still heavily scared from his wounds and lost 3 of his heads. Fighting him feels kind of harsh now that I think about it.
The music slapped so fucking hard for this fight. Must've took me like 5 tries to put this dude down. The runback was kinda annoying ngl.
If he was fully restored I bet he'd look like Kaizer Ghidora but with more heads.
Didn’t know he could fire those laser beams wtf. That kind of « disappear » into a thunder claw dash is prolly the most badass boss move I’ve ever seen.

Second try, I just locked in and felt really in tune with this fight, almost effortlessly dodging every attack, definitely one of my favorites

What I consider the final boss of Farum Azula
This dragon was so difficult to defeat.
it scary to even imagine how strong Placidusax and Bayle was in their prime. we fight their rugged, half-dead version and still a nightmare
Who else thought Placi was actually hanging upside down like a bat the first time they walked into this fight?
Well bayle was a worthy enough to take on this and mutilate him.

I didn’t like his fight cuz I hate bosses that are bitches that run away from you all the time, but his visuals are incredible

After Bayle, this is still my favourite dragon. Bayle is def harder tho.
After many attempts, i managed to kill him before the laser stage! I had to break his poise twice, and instead of riposte i went full swiping with dual katanas.

Coming back to this knowing what we know from the dlc, god the battle where placi lost their heads must have been absolutely INSANE
Next time, i hope Fromsoftware gives a bit detail where you can't kill enemy just by hitting its tail. It only makes sense if it was the main body or head.
Without the fraternal aggression of Bayle you won't never ever colud beat a Dragon God as Placidussax
It's like through Elden Ring's timeline, we're only fighting leftovers instead of having a real match of their prime.
