12 hours is "only" now? Damn.
After 2 hours of playing im thoroughly bored with this game already. I dont find it difficult like so many think, I just dont find it fun. Story so far is meh, gameplay is cool and the graphics are phenomenal, but for some reason the game falls very flat. Could just be that im tired and sleep is huge on my mind right now after working all day… but so far im very dissapointed, I wanted this game to blow dead space out of the water and personally I dont see that at all
It stutters so bad on steam on my PC I can't play it no matter what graphics settings I put it on. Which makes no sense cuz I have a 3080ti with a 5800x3d. I should be able to run this game butter smooth

12 hours isn't a problem, this isn't red dead 2 it don't need to be 90 plus hours it's a single player survival horror experience don't need the fluff and padding just so it can be long
Why do zoomers want every single game to be 40+ hours long? They already make plenty of those games so just play them instead of asking every single dev to make super long games.

Why is 12 hours a problem? The recent RE games can be beaten in under 2 hours, even on a first time playthrough. 12 hours is a great length for a linear horror title like this
12 hours but with the additional of searching around and finding different paths to explore adds more to it
The important thing is not so much the duration, but the quality and the replayability of a game, the replayability allows you to enjoy it indefinitely.
It's a problem if the game is short and it's not replayable, you get little out of your investment, but if it's replayable, has endgame content and expansions, it will keep you entertained for a while.
There are long games that are not replayable like AC Valhalla for example, you finish it and you don't feel like starting another game, worse when it doesn't have NG+.
I understand that this game will be supported for 4 years, so we could have some good entertainment with it.
12-14 hours is a deal breaker for me seeing that they're charging $93 for it here in Canada
I don't know why devs continue to make short games at these high price points. I'm gonna buy it and play it becaise it looks very good but for 60 to 70 bucks they need to try and make longer games to make them more worth the investment.

"12 Hours Only" is misinformation. It was stated as 12 to 16 hours by the developer and the first walkthrough available clocks in about 18 hours with extras. Then there are the different routes called "beta paths" that encourage you to replay the game to see different stuff. This is all easily accessible information.
