Seems like I found the anti-LGTBQ corner of the internet. You are all saying like this guy in the video that you in fact support strong, lesbian woman but there are too much of them in video games. You contradict yourselves. Acceptance means that tolerate them in the long term. What you are saying is like "one disabled person on the picture is ok but not more or it looks weird". I dont say all main characters must be lesbian woman and this also not case in the industry right now – Horizon Zero Dawn, Star Wars Outlaws, Assassins Creed, also different female sidekicks, tomb raider, and often you can even design your own character.
Also, a game is not mainly good because the main character could be a Topmodel. The character has to be sympathetic, human and bad ass. Dont tell me she doesnt look badass (not the same as sexy).

Very well said brother. It's like people think everyone have issues with playing as a "female" character which simply isn't true. I mean, just look at how many people including guys have played as Female V in Cyberpunk or even Baldur's Gate 3(myself included). Tomb Raider with Lara Croft is still one of the most beloved franchises out there and nobody hates on Resident Evil games either even though they portray strong independent women. Another thing a slight minority says in this game's defense is that "Women don't always have to be pretty. She's unique". Yes, she looks unique but creativity =/= great. Everyone loves a generic female design who's pretty as well, just look at Stellar Blade. Nier Automata is another prime example of people having 0 issues playing as a badass female character.
Some people make argument that the character doesn't need to be "super attractive" for you to enjoy but in all honesty, that's the character I AM PLAYING. There's a reason why Games like Cyberpunk had such rich customization, it's because you can create them however you like. Seeing your character on the screen doing stuff is one of the most important things ever. Imagine if Dante from DMC wasn't like that Anime style badass guy but instead a bald, mixed-race, average height dude. It's honestly baffling the thing people say in this game's and particularly character design's defense.

I looked up the actress the main character is modeled after and although she isn't super feminine in some pictures they really made her as butch and masculine as they possibly could
