I'm playing version 1.00 of the game because I'm not privileged enough to have the internet and download massive update patches that apparently are required to finish the game, because they released it unfinished. Not sure why it's the new norm for developers to make you spend hundreds of extra dollars in order to make up for their laziness and incompetence. This is a problem for me because 99% of the in game items have been switched to different locations in the update patch. Which means 99% of these guides are completely useless to me, and other people who are so privileged. What other job can you continuously release broken/unfinished products, keep your job, get paid, and show up to award shows every year? What other job makes the customer literally pay for your incompetence and laziness? I should have been a game developer. I've been gaming for nearly 30 years now. It's been one of my favorite hobbies for all this time. However, I'm beginning to grow a genuine hatred for it and the way the gaming industry is conducting themselves these days. Not to mention the extra several hundred dollars you will inevitably need to spend on console storage expansion in order to fit these 50gb-100gb update patches that are required to fix/finish these games. A decent amount of people who are less privileged have been pushed out of this hobby and left behind. All because developers feel it's fine to make them climb 2 extra paywalls in order to partake in the hobby, because they release unfinished or broken products. I'm going to try and follow this guide….but I have a strong feeling that I'll end up being pissed off not too long from now when I realize these stones aren't there because I can't afford to pay extra money to get a finished product…..the sad thing is that this was my introduction to from software/souls games. As much as I love this game so far, I also genuinely hate it. Probably will never be buying another game from these people. Team Cherry made Hollow Knight. And incredible game. It was actually finished when it was released. Even though there was less than a handful of people who made the game. Hollow Knight is way better in so many ways. Being a finished product upon release is just one of them. Sorry for the rant. But I'm fed up with this sh*t.

I have to say that beating the tree sentinel with only +6 is much easier riding Torrent and poking him down one hit at a time. Just run away after each hit, it will be much easier.

If you want to kill the tree sentinel easy, go get a dragon heart from the sleeping dragon you can kill at fort faroth, there is a teleport that can get you there easy and guides to show you how, you can farm the dragon for runes but in this case we need his heart to get the rotten breath incantation, it will kill the tree sentinel while your summons distract it for you, i recommend upgrading the basic wolf summon as most summons with no upgrade will die quickly against the sentinel, my wolves were level 5 and i hit him with scarlet rot till he died
got lost cause an enemy made me panic and i found a somber 7 and 8 in the sewers so win anyway i guess lol
