On PS4 slim it plays amazing imo. Steady 30 fps and looks amazing. 10/10. When u are in the dwarf realm, as soon u enter city, look on bridge and pretty sure u can see Odin.
Its a great game, combat, free roam missions and a ton of optional bosses, its certainly value for money that's for sure with all the extra content and realms to explore, not to mention the improved story bosses which the last game lacked, and the increased enemy variety which was something they really went to town with in this. I thought kratos was amazing, it was great we got to hear more about his past with him telling stories of his family and things he achieved in the other games, the fact kratos is sort of open to talk about that stuff is great character development. The new weapon is fantastic and on par with the blades and axe ( which is a huge achievement) they finally got a spear weapon right for once (hated that spear from gow2)! And of course the soundtrack is incredible one of the best of the series. Voice acting is great also. Its a good idea also to play side missions in between the story to help with the pacing. However the Atreus sections hold it back for me, as I found those parts really boring (gameplay wise) no where near as fun as playing as kratos, those moments playing as Atreus slowed down the pacing big time for me and….didn't really do the story any favors, the info we learn in those sections could have been achieved in a quicker way I think (like not picking fruits or skimming rocks). Plus I feel certain aspects of the story were a bit rushed in places and this era could have benefited more by being a trilogy I think, plus for me, there was too much swearing and it didn't fit in certain moments (that one is a nitpick I admit). Overall its great but for me not the best of the series, might change my mind as time goes on, but for now its 8/10 I can see it becoming a 9/10 in future playthroughs, especially if they add a accessibility feature where you can skip those Atreus sections….

From a Mythological perspective, Kratos was always “Worthy” of lifting Mjölnir.
Since it’s not based on who’s worthy, but on strength. Even Thor needed special gauntlets to lift it.
