The candidate will work alongside with IT to gather and interpret SAP data and insights to develop strategic business solutions.This role will require 2 on-site days if based in New York.Main Activities/Responsibilities:
- Create, analyze, and deliver Marketing and Product Management reports and dashboards using Power BI and SAP data source to track success of key business initiatives
- Assist leadership in the development and enhancement of the customer pricing framework, strategy, and targets.
- Assist in Product & Marketing analytics strategy projects, e.g., price-volume-mix, customer contribution margin analysis, etc.
- Partner on cross team execution of pricing, marketing analytics and data related projects.
- Perform analysis on SAP reports and metrics and provide summary on recommendations, root cause, corrective action, or potential process improvements.
- Create periodic reports for use by Senior Management. Perform ad hoc analysis and data modeling as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance of pricing tools and concepts (e.g., internally built Pricing Application)
- Define, implement, report, and monitor Pricing KPIs, and coordinate with Finance on other key performance metrics.
- Assess business targets vs. actual empirical outcomes and propose adjustments, where necessary.
- Prepare periodic customer reviews that track price leakages and customer profitability assessments
- Develop proficiency across the suite of SAP and Power BI tools. Generate output to support data and price actions with customers. Assist Marketing, Global Product Management and Executive Leadership Team on SAP data pulls and Power BI dashboarding.
- Foster strong relationships with other internal groups to drive growth and profitability.
Competencies:
- Expert in Microsoft Office Excel and data visualization software (Power BI).
- Ability to analyze and manipulate large and complex data sets (structured and unstructured), with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency querying data using SQL.
- Strong understanding/experience in statistical analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning, and other artificial intelligence.
- Understanding of database, data warehouse, and data lake principles/concepts.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages/tools including DAX, M, Python, SQL, R, and/or Shell Scripts.
- Strong financial acumen and math skills
- Knowledge of project management tools such as SmartSheet, Asana, Microsoft Projects, and/or Microsoft Planner
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in the organization
- Proactive self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience designing and configuring Microsoft Power BI reports with large data sets required
- Ability to create Microsoft Power BI measures and manipulate data using DAX and DAX Query
- Extensive experience working with large datasets, spreadsheets and analysis required.
- Experience in architecting data warehouses and/or data lakes is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in B2B company supporting marketing analytics preferred.
