If you don't have the strategy book for the level when you're in the fish which is the last stone you need you will be there for a while. Eventually this was before YouTube I had to Google how to do it and it was impossible for me to figure out what to do on the Dragon dungeon level that is impossible if you don't have the strategy book
This is a really good game. I always grew up playing it at my cousins houses and then my cousin finally asked if I wanted to buy it for 5 bucks for n64 luckily my other cousin was moving out of my grandmother's house and under his bed frame was the strategy book for it. I got all the way till I think the level where your in the fish and then after that the Dragon in the dungeon idk which one came first and then I think I just stopped playing it

@Muhr95 I have played both and the 3DS version is definately better, The graphocs of the N64 version feel a little sparse and outdated in comparison, the gameplay is identical
