Better yes, but some things in poe2 are just so disrespectful to the players time that it makes it hard to want to push end game. Obviously its EA so itll hopefully get softened out.
I had more fun playing last epoch than diablo 4 and LE production quality is nowhere near D4, but they gameplay and the level of depth in that game is very addictive and rewarding..
Count Geonor is better than any of the Diablo 4 bosses combined.
Played Diablo1, Diablo 2, Diablo 3 and also Diablo 4, which is not a bad game… never played POE2, just POE1 and it was too overwhelming for me to keep playing it.
Alone that question makes no sense, because it is clear, yes poe2 is much better! end of the story!

i didn't even watch the video and also keep in mine poe2 is not fully released (still in beta, still missing lots of content) and already the answer is: YES poe2 is for me personally Diablo 3. blizz d3&4 didn't exist and i will never call those "games" diablo games.
TLDR:No in the current state we have less stuff to do and the game fun factor is almost 0. All the fun is squeezed out of the game mechanics andeverything is made with the idea to be slow boring and your character feels weak as slug compared to any other ARPG you have used to play. The Souls-like formula only works with games that are Boss focused and cannot be implemented in ARPG where you need to kill millions of monsters. The whole idea of min-maxing is to make your character feels like a ultimate DragonballZ badass. They missed the most impotant thing which is – players should feel good when playing and they should love their builds and have somethig exciting to chase at all time. Once you hit 90 and clear enough maps in this POE2 thing you are done for good. There is literally 0 things to be excited for after 100 hours of gametime. And dont start with EARLY ACCESS becouse they had more then 10 YEARS of experience with POE1 and huge community and knowledge. PoE2 is just a clone o poe with shiny graphics thats all…Less fun, less builds,less map layouts, less bosses, less crafting, less economy and less soul
For people who worry about PoE2´s effect on D4, just dont. It's two completely different types of entertainment. PoE2 is very difficult and unforgiving. It takes a long time to get anywhere. Its very good and fun (for me) but Diablo offers another type of fun and relaxation that appeals to some people a lot more. To mow down mobs with impunity and listen to your favourite music is something you just dont do in PoE2, its more a diablo thing. And besides, PoE2 does not have the almighty "i look like i sleep under a bridge" fatty that i love, the druid. Well not yet anyway. So relax, play whatever suits you and dont get entangled in this hate/love war that so many seem to focus on right now. Cheers for reading!
