Some actors are so good at the ad-libbing required for this show. Others have been awful ( I will not name them). Jeff Garland is always so good. He is always holding back sincere laughter at the scenes. Ted Danson is also very good at playing himself. Richard Lewis was never as funny as he was in his Curb appearances. Really convinced me of their friendship.
Season One Episode The Pants Tent had the funniest scene of all CYE's IMO. In those days they were doing everything on the fly. It was miraculous when it all came together perfectly. I did not see any of the best scenes of CYE in this video compilation.

Hi from England. I am now 61 but for the past 20+ years 'Curb' and LD have been my 'Go to' source of comedy relief. The guy is a genius. The humour does not always travel the Atlantic, let alone transcend language barriers, but I worked for a long time in and for a California based IT co. I just cant stop laughing. His wit is so quick and picks up on such mundane everyday things. I would buy him a banana ice cream any day! LD for President. Seriously. Can you imagine?
