agreed with everyone else. classes > heroes. look promising tho besides the hero part!!
All the feedback I’ve seen is make this class based with a character you can make and get rid of the hero stuff and I’ve not seen any communication from the dev team.
Seems like they’re not interested in doing the work. Make a story and make it 15 minute dungeons and m+ in WoW will be dead.

Honestly. THe way people move.. The HUD.. THE UI.. The sorta twitchy ness and how you throw.. channel and cast things. Looks a shit tone like world of warcraft.

I think the way they can do to give customization is do what they did with Soul Calibur when they introduced custom characters. Customize your appearance and then pick from a moveset of the game's characters. Its straight up just a cosmetic thing but i think the immersion aspect is a draw.
I appreciate the concept but I play MMOs for roleplaying and living worlds not the end game dungeons.
I'll be honest, I like the game but won't check it out due to the hero gameplay. I wish them the best and hope they succeed but I think not being able to make your own avatar will alienate a lot of potential players.
i agree with most everyone else. make this class based and not hero based. i want my own avater i can customize and level up. not a prebaked option. game looks awesome still.
Not having one of the biggest staples of MMORPG's… Character Creation and Customization… is a huge miss and a massive let down.
What is the long term motivation in this game? Do you play a story or do you gear up your characters? Will you be able to customize your characters at release?

Wayfinder already tried this and failed miserably. No one wants to play heros in an mmo setting. Customizing your own character is super important. This looks like boring tab target slop

It kinda looks like Albion Online from third person perspective with some guild wars 2 and wow elements mixed in.
I enjoyed playing delves in wow, but didn't enjoy the grind for keys to get meaning full loot hence not played it for months
