It's a joke that they don't have a chao garden. This game looks like a newer version of the original Sonic Adventure. It was pretty open world for Sega Dreamcast times. That was my favorite childhood game.

As a Sonic fan, the only thing I want from this game is to play it. All I want is to just play it, get my thoughts on it, and dip.
I wanted nothing out of Sonic Colors Ultimate, Sonic Origins, or even Sonic Forces. I didn’t touch those games.
This game has earned my intrigue, but I have no high expectations. I don’t care who’s writing it, I don’t care how good it looks, all I want is to just get my hands on it and decide whether or not I still want to engage with this character’s future.

I think the open world should be filled with Sonic characters, cities and villages because sonic world is sonic world because of all the characters and interactions between them, it's not just about Sonic like how SEGA thinks.
Apparently this game will open the possibility of Sonic Adventure 3. So I think this game will set the stage for the real kick ass Sonic game we are all looking for.

I've been waiting a decade for another good 3D Sonic game to come out after Generations (still won't touch Forces!), and I'm really truly hoping this might be it. Hearing that the Cyberspace levels are really good gives me ton of hope 😇 I just want to experience another great 3D Sonic experience (preferably in handheld) before I turn into a grumpy old guy entering my 30s 😅

Dunno why, but im beggining to think that Frontier's model used here it's just a place holder. And hear me out in this one, in the cutscenes we see a Unleashed model wich it's kinda odd considering that the model it's the Forces one, in forces they used the model we use in game, so i can't think on why would they use two different models for the exact same game this time, it just doesn't match up to me, Is this relevant? Nope, just wanted to point it out since the thought just hit me.

with sonic games, the preview is usually just the first level exactly as it is in the actual game. so it shouldnt get much better than that.

I really get annoyed with people calling this botw… OMG! It's not the first goddamn open world game with puzzles and towers! People are really annoying. I like everything that it threw at me. The game is 80% done from what I've heard.

The look of it is kind of unoriginal. I get why people thought of a comparison to BOTW since the game seems more interested in looking like BOTW and other fantasy openworlds than creating an engaging, creative environments, they really should be taking advantage of the dozen locations and inspired level the franchise got to create such a thing, they seem to do it for the cyberspace segments why not the rest?
