Question: Why Carian Regal Scepter vs Carian Glintblade Staff? Are we not going to use Glintblade sorceries? Also, I don't have a Somber Smithing Stone 8. Must have missed it. Oy!
Is there a reason we didn’t save our Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone for a +10 Carian Regal Scepter? I personally prefer using that scepter over using Dark Moon Greatsword due to range and accuracy issues with DMGS, and it would have been nice to have the Carian Regal Scepter as our first +10 unique weapon.

Y'know, in catching up to wear I left off, I somehow forgot just how hard we end up repping Rani at the end of this build. All hail the queen of Caria, I guess. Now I just need some armor to match the weapons haha.
switched some gear to crucible knight armor, its pretty good.
For some reason when I reloaded the area after getting the mending rune, D wasn’t there, only fia’s armor. I tried quoting out the game and going back in, but nothing worked. Is leveling up twice required? That’s the only thing I can think that I didn’t do.
Edit: turns out I clicked no when giving his brother the armor. All fixed!
Fortissax is compensating for something.
It should be noted that when you invade Old Knight Istvan, your Great Rune will become inactive, so you will lose its benefits. You may end up with heavy rolling when dodging but that shouldn't matter too much.

Update: it was the scarab beside Farum greatbridge, apaprently it ran off last time. Great to be back on track before progressing further!
After I beat Fia's champions she never showed up I tried closing the game going somewhere else and coming back but nothing worked any chance you know how to fix it?

When i killed Dragon, and you said to spend runes to level 2 levels, i went i went to another grace to kill statues because i was low on runes, and when i come back i didnt have D twin cutscene, instead theres a Repair rune on deaths fia's body :/ i think the quest story changed because i went to another site of grace 🙁 did i messed up the run? thnx!

It seems there are 3 or 4 big quests who each lead to one big ending and all of them want to revive some old god or mighty lord or something, at least that's my interpretation of the whole story so far, haha. But I like it and now we finally continue with volcano manor, yeah.

So he gets revenge and..I guess he uh…aborted..the baby she made? sleeping with a corpse? because thats what her faction does..they make life out of death. I can process all that…why was their a big ass dragon? what corelleation did that have to..anything else that happened? also why did she stab D in the first place? because she's just an opposing factino and it was a murder of opportunity? Hmmm

I have a question, why do you upgrade the brass shield if the physical damage negation doesn’t go up? The attack power increases with every upgrade but you don’t attack with the shield. I hope this is not a silly question 🫣 13:16
Lichdragon was quite the battle for me as now I am testing out a black blade build and loving it so so far. As for a battle, it was OK but it's nothing compared to another dragon way later in the guide. Probably one of my two favourite bosses.

When talking to Fia, if you select the first option, you don't actually lock yourself out of Fia's quest, you get dialogue, and then when you speak to her again, you can select the second option to progress the quest. You only lock yourself out if you kill her.
