6:50 to be fair the last time Nintendo did release a launch title 3D Mario game at least on a Home console was Super Mario 64. I think Super Mario 3D Land was a launch title for the 3DS but actually I don't remember because I didn't bother until the budget-friendly 2DS came out a couple years later anyways.

oh boy indeed. some people in the comments are already saying things like "looks like this console will be at the same power performance than his competitors (i assume ps5 and xbox s) lol. i mean, people never learn. ps: im not fanboy of any company (i dont like nintendo as a company, but i am fan of some of their ips). heck, i dont even have any actual generation console, but all nintendo consoles after game-cube are weak in performance compared to "competitors". why switch 2 will be different? of course, maybe now the performance will be something more like between ps3 and ps4 (and im being optimistic here), for example. but that's it. now same level of actual gen, no way. (but at the end of the day, good games are all that matters, of course)

My main concern after everything is how powerful are the magnets? I have a pacemaker and prolonged exposure to something much stronger than a fridge magnet can really cause some health issues. I don't think it would be a big deal if the joycons are attached, but if they aren't, I'm a little concerned

I feel like the way the controllers attach to the switch 2 is gonna have HUGE issues with the plugs breaking off from the console
Am I really the only one seeing that mario kart clip as a placeholder demo thing? There's a few things off about it. It reminds me of the demo trailer for double dash back in the early 2000's. That used melee models for it. This one…well, Peach has her hair down and is in a dress despite being on a bike and that's certainly not normal, Donkey looks like he was ripped straight out of the movie, and the mario bros look alot like they did in Wonder, but, with eerily dead stares and making barely any facial expressions. I don't think that "teaser" was real. I really think it was just to show off graphics or something.
God, I hope Nintendo doesn't reject physical games in the future, and I hope Nintendo switch 2 isn't the last physical system.

The games non compatible are probably the games that us the IR features (like Nintendo labo), due to the lack of an IR sensor
I see a lot of people saying they wish it was called the Super Switch and such, and honestly I feel that'd lead to the same problem the Wii U had in its branding

I had got MK8 as a pack in title with my Wii-U but never bothered with buying MK8 Deluxe since the driving just didn't seem as fun. Mario Kart 9 would be an instant buy for me if it had playable Tiny Kong and driving more like MK Wii then MK8.

I know Nintendo die-hard fans are going crazy over this, but really, it was a bad trailer. It showed basically nothing we didn't already know. The Switch 2 has been floating around on the internet for two, maybe three weeks now, and I was kind of hoping with this they'd not only give a serious description of it, show some hardware specs, but also lean into the features that weren't included in leaks or maybe look more at some of the Switch 2 launch games since those weren't leaked either. Instead, we got a pretty barebones trailer that just feels like a "fine, just take it" PR strategy from Nintendo to cover their ass in the midst of all the leaks going on. There's still so much speculation about it's hardware, some people say it'll be on-par with last gen consoles, some people say it'll be similar to modern gen, some say it'll be last gen with some advantages, but currently we still don't know. I was also just disappointed with some of the smaller things, like the name of the console, the logo, the design of the system, the kickstand on the back that looks super breakable. They could've gone about this much better than how they did. I have a feeling I'm probably gonna sleep on the Switch 2 for the first year or two just to give it some time to get a couple games.
