I'm surprised you didn't mention Wyll + blue background for for a dice rolling deck you can put Simon into.
I feel like I'm bad at commander whenever I watch videos like this cuz I thought Edgin was broken compared to the rest, but you were eh about it.
Doric also goes well in Voltron decks. My Erinis, Gloom Stalker + Flaming Fist deck want a lot of ways to have trample… And this one ramp too! It's a shame that I will never buy a Secret Lair product though but would be willing to trade for it.
I am very new o magic and have actually just started to upgrade my first precon with Galea. I added Finest hour and Rafiq of the many for some cool Exalted boosts already, and the new white card will slot in super nicely.

My problem with these is that it's virtually inaccessible for people outside US/EU.
For me, ordering one set of these is more expensive than some collector booster boxes.

The Simon Sorcerer card reminds me of Jace Beleren but with a spellslinging d20 twist. I guess which one you run depends on how reliably you can throw spells, or whether you prefer a planeswalker over a 1/1 creature.
