Yesterday, a kitten found me. Followed me home for about a half a mile and ran to catch up with me each time I tried to run away/ahead. 😢 Walked up my front steps onto my porch before I did, as if it knew where to go. I called animal control for help to no avail. Kitten looks clean & plumpish, in the 5-12 week age range according to this guide. Ate a little kibble I was able to get from a neighbor and drank some water. Trying to figure out what to do next, in my new little homie's best interest & my current situation… 🫤
I'm overwhelmed. I found 5 kittens about 5-10 weeks old in my driveway under my car. It's so hard to know what to do. I don't want to take someone's cats, but I'm worried why are they outside. It doesn't seem like someone would let 5 kittens outside. I didn't think I could catch them. It took a little while but it ended up pretty easy. I put a dish of tuna inside a cat carrier and left the door open. I waited looking out the window. When one went inside, I quickly and quietly came and shut the door, brought the kitten inside to a second cat carrier then put the original carrier back outside with the tuna inside it and the door opened. One by one over about two hours I got all five of them. I can't keep them. I really hope I can drop them off at the shelter. I do know one person who wants a kitten. I really didn't want the hassle, I remember it being really hard to find a home for 7 kittens when my cat had kittens, but I was worried about them being left outside to turn feral.

You can tame a truly feral cat…it takes a long time and a lot of patience, but it is entirely worth it.

My kitten was okay before i rescued/adopted him. His mom hung around my sister’s and her neighbors yard before giving birth in the neighbor’s garage. A week after they were born, a dog had eaten one of the kittens, and then again a week later. Now I was already planning on adopting one of the kittens but when he was older, around six weeks, or at least until he wasn’t dependent on his mom anymore. But after the second death, I ended up taking him in at three weeks, after I had already gotten formula from Breeder’s Edge. He’s turning 5 weeks this Sunday and is happy, flea free, and learning how to use the litter box, I’m hopefully gonna wean him off of the formula soon. The neighbors have the other two kittens inside now and let the mom in to feed whenever she’s around, and they already have people waiting to adopt them when they’re older.
I found a litter yesterday along with a momma cat that ran away from me but we came back to check on them around 4pm and only one was there with no sight of the momma. Came back 4 hours later and it's still there with no momma! It was starting to get chilly and there's no way it would survive the night without the warmth of its siblings so we brought it in and fed it liquefied cat food. We dint have kitten formula though. Should we return the kitten to the box we found it in tomorrow? Or just keep it inside now?

I took in 4 feral kittens, I've socialized them since they are 4 weeks old. I was outside everyday playing with them and fed them. I didn't take them in until 6 or 7 weeks old. I just brought them in today. I'm keeping one maybe 2, the other 2 will be going to a good home. There are 5 feral cats that live around. I'm hoping I can get them spayed and neutered soon.
