The mother was an idiot for letting her daughter go; the stepdaughter was an idiot for taking her little stepsister; the older stepsister did not properly supervise her little stepsister; the living arrangements were not safe with underaged youth living together; and no one should allow a young child around a dog that isn't being contained. But still the dog bit the child. Unless the child was harassing the dog then the owner of the dog should be libel.

The mum probably wanted to palm her daughter off for the weekend so she could have some "me time" and now is paying the price for it. Sure, the daughter may have really wanted to go, but she probably didn't object to it much herself either, but obviously she won't admit that part. If having a child is too much responsibility for you, then don't have kids to begin with.

Don't agree. They all failed this child. There are 17, 18 year old that are intelligent people responsible.
I was mauled by two cattle dogs when I was three. They tore off my right cheek. It happened while we were at a riding stable while on vacation. It’s 35 years later and that scar happens to be my favorite thing about my looks. It’s a story and it caused a cute dimple to form on my cheek.
I also still love dogs.

Having a pitbull around children (or anyone) is almost like leaving a loaded gun that can shoot on its own. The amount of folks in absolute denial, that their pitbull is special is insane. Why anyone would get a pitbull in the first place (which let's be honest: pitbulls are an ugly breed) is beyond me. My previous neighbors had a pitbull that was literally chained up outside all day, barking the entire time. I don't blame the pitbull, I blame the idiots that breed and own one.

Agree with everything except he’s an idiot for getting a Pitbull. I have met one somewhat aggressive Pitbull and the owner used to punch the fucker as “play”. Every other Pitbull, every single one, has been nothing but sweet. In all my life Pitbulls and Golden Retrievers have by far been the sweetest most aloof loving dogs

So many pitbull owners do not know how to train them off the start to be just kind and sweet. They are not always so vicious but can be if improper training! It is always the owner's fault!
