What is the game?
This was great Billie, thank you. I had to skip the story part but the fact it was under positives is a good thing for me.
The humour, I like it too to be honest, I wonder if it’s a generational thing. You and I grew up with that Buffy/Marvel semi detached from gravity humour and love it – but maybe younger audiences have just felt slammed by it in recent years.
If this game was funny to you, you should have a sense of humour checkup asap 😂, this game is not for "gamers", but you're a woman sooo…..

I'm still in two minds about this game. From the little i've seen, I would enjoy the humour and the world, but I have no hand/eye co-ordination, so the parkour aspect worries me (I find even the easiest jumping puzzles in Guild wars 2 hard) . May just wait for this game to be in a Steam sale and then consider it.
Think that was a really good review! Definitely some really good points and from watching it too can see how it does have so much promise and where massive improvements could be made in just making in run more efficiently and adding a few QoL upgrades to menus/interaction or just getting used to some of their choices
Hi Billie! I’ll be very interested to know what you think about this game. Honestly, I’ve heard so many, seemingly negative reviews, I’m not sure what to think anymore. Have I been watching/reading the wrong reviews? Is the game really that bad? Which are the positives and the negatives? For myself I haven’t bought it or played it. I’ll be making my final decision, based on the story. I can let go of average gameplay and flawed mechanics, but if the story and characters are no good, I won’t be wasting my money. Edit: Thank you Billie. For myself I’m still not convinced. 😅 I think it’s probably because it still seems like this is ‘just’ another RPG. Also, I’m not very keen on tragedy. Yes, nearly all SquareEnix games have it. But I’ve had quite enough of that for now. Nevertheless, maybe I’ll give a try. 😁
