I played it for a few hours on Switch last night and agree with all of your comments. It has warts technically, but the gameplay is fun. Running like a bat out of hell across the landscape, grinding, dashing and homing attacking things is a joy! Being able to finally "open him up" and take off is so refreshing after decades of coming to a dead stop at walls in constricted environments.
my take on switch is if you have a better console get it on there cus the 60+ fps is worth it plus the graphics dont look muddy.
I did refund my copy on switch to get the steam version and im happy, just a shame i don't have it portably. that 30 fps really killed me cus im used to silky smooth 144hz games and the fact that this is a really faced paced game really didnt put it in good light for me on switch..

The game looks good but they ruined it by using sonic as the star. Someone needs to hold him down and give him a hair cut and then the yellow sonic looks like he has a bunch of bananas on his head. sonic needs to retire and be put to pasture.
