An Out of This World Encounter
Based on a personal, live experience – circa 1960
(School House Hostel, Capricorn High School, Pietersburg, Transvaal, South Africa.)
When I was young, a long time ago, whilst still at boarding school,
As walking to the prep rooms one night, the air was fresh and cool,
I saw a light shine on the clouds, hanging thick and low,
Like a strobing searchlight shining from above; possibly a ‘UFO’?
The beam seemed to be following me, mimicked every move I made.
And as I repeatedly turned from left to right; it purposely obeyed.
I sensed it knew that I was there, appeared to be having fun.
I didn’t know quite what to do as I looked up to where it shone.
Not a sound could I hear, no hum, nor whirr, nor purr
As standing stunned I watched in awe for a full ten minutes or more.
Yet as I walked onto the playing field, through the old school gate
I felt at peace and unafraid, and thought, ‘Is it trying to communicate?’
And it did! as it lowered itself through a hole made in the cloud
With white and green and red lights blinking, looking very proud.
It moved slowly and then it paused, as I stood quite still and mute.
Then I turned and headed East, wondering whether it would follow suit.
Not quite sure what to do next; should I run or stand my ground?
I shouted, ”Come down here and speak to me”, but still I heard no sound.
It swung to-and-fro and then zig-zagged away, as if waving me goodbye.
And then it rose back through the hole in the cloud; I could see stars in the sky.
Each move lasted about a minute or so, as it hovered overhead.
I thought I might be dreaming as I shook my puzzled head,
Then with pain in my soul I sadly watched my new-found ‘Friends’ depart.
While this encounter was very brief it is etched in my mind and heart.
I wished that some of my earthly friends had been there, so long ago
To witness together with me, what I saw, just so they too would know.
I knew that no-one would ever believe me, so I never let them learn
What I saw, but I always keep a look-out now, in case my ‘Friends’ return.
The lesson I learned that awesome night is that we’re part of a larger realm
That our world blinded by ignorance; but, who is at the helm?
We need to learn to live with open minds within our special zone.
And to this day I’m not quite sure what I saw, but I’m sure we’re not alone.

Had a huge UFO fly within 50 feet of me and my best mate in 2010. We were both 15 At the time fishing in Rural Victoria, Australia. It was huuuge and had the tendency to demateralize and reappear on command, it was a disc-shape illuminated with white/neon green lights the texture of the material on the craft was indescribable. My mate fainted due to shock whilst I felt like I was physically hit by radiation or an electro-magnetic fields. Ever since then ive had encounters with UFOs and flying orbs but they haven't come close like the first one. Most profound moment was once it left and we were gettin ready to leave the fishing spot the UFO returned in the distance, stopped, and bounced all the way to the opposite side of the sky within a few nano-seconds.

I've seen almost every movie and documentary concerning UFOs and I've always been fascinated by them, but I actually do not believe in them as people think of them, until I see proof, actual proof. I'll be so glad when someone somewhere in the world can actually produce some proof. Until then I'll never truly believed in them. Sorry.

Family of mine live in a rural farm far away from everything in Namakwaland my mother grew up there and she lived there for a few years with my youngest brother and while gathering sheep she saw something silver above a koppie (small mountain) disc shape but it had like a long shaft underneath that looked liked it was in the ground. It hovered for a few seconds after she saw it and then lift off and moved away very fast. My brother basically only saw the last few seconds she was shouting at him to show him, but the wind was against her, so it took a bit of shouting for him to realize. From rime to time, my aunt on the farm experiences funny things like dogs going mad at night. She sees lights, but not sure what it is gates are opened that were closed the previous night. I myself saw a bright light lighting up the house(three of them next to one another) one night when we were visiting there and we went hunting. Basically, when i looked back to the house while we were driving away, I was at the back of the bakkie, and saw this huge light basking the houses and surrounding with light i shaked on my sister in law and showed her. As we rode along the road, the house disappeared as we rode into a dip, and i am trying to get my brother, who was driving attention, but when we were in view again, it was gone. He himself saw a light above the house the evening they where on the farm digging my mothers grave the weather was bad and it was in winter last year he said he looked up to the house and again it was basked in light. He made it off as a sign from my mom. But it is the same as I have seen a year or 4 ago. So, in my opinion something is happening there. Asswell sheep and goats dissappear with no trace. There are jackals and leopards and linx, but if they took the animals, there would be traces, but these animals just disappear with no trace.
