I bought the PS5 after seeing the upcoming boxing game “Undisputed” for PC. Hopefully Sony picks that title up soon.
I have both consoles and a 4k 60fps TV, for me that's the best settings to play with great visuals and smooth gameplay framerate.
So I just rounded out my consoles by purchasing a Series X…… from a pawn shop for $250.00. I asked why so cheap and was told that they just can't move them for more. Crazy.
I have both consoles PS5 and Series X with game pass ultimate and I play the PS5 a lot more. The Series X is good for collecting dust.

wrong game to do performance test across platforms…. Performance tests need to run like 3D Mark on Steam….which means pitting it up in a "can it run Crysis" type tech demo fashion…2 it needs to be a game that pushes the boundaries of graphical fidelity and have Ray Tracing engaged.. Perhaps Chorus or something similar

That guy hates it when ps5 wins the comparisons. I have already said after 1440p it’s just diminished returns I even stay at 1440 with a 3090ti. I wish Sony would add a dedicated prioritisation of 1440p to get more. Not just output at 1440 if you know what I mean, but for spoken has a good combat loop but not enough to do in the game.
I still kept the pre-order on forspoken. I always like to give Games her shot for myself. I’ll be happy if it just ends up being a game that holds my attention long enough to complete it.

I have both consoles. I hear it runs slightly better on PS5 but my TV has VRR and I can’t ignore getting it on Game Pass vs paying $40
Otherwise I would have picked it up for PlayStation because I prefer it normally.
I will say though. I have played monster hunter rise on graphic mode on my LG C1 and there’s no noticeable dip because of VRR

I don’t buy the RE engine chat from DF? XboxSX supposedly has the more powerful version (on paper) of the Same APU architecture that’s in the PS5 so how can the RE engine perform better on the PS5? Just as games that are optimised run better, hardware that is optimised runs better! Sony just build better consoles that allows devs to optimise games to run better.
DF biases towards MS/Xbox has been exposed many times, I don’t follow them anymore as the trust is gone.
