My vet told me that there is a chemical in plastic bags that cats like the taste of . Two of my cats will lick plastic bags if given the chance. I used to leave water in my glass on bathroom counter. In the night I would hear my glass clatter in the basin. I soon realized my cat likes to drink the water from that glass only so I started to leave more water in the glass, no more clattering. Also had a cat who likes to hide small objects. Had to check toilet before use because that was one of her favorite hiding places

I don't keep pets but there are several feral cats in my neighborhood and one in particular hangs out with me. So far in the last two years he's brought me three dead rattlesnakes that he has killed. The first one he killed saving my life. After he killed it he took it by the neck and deposited it at my feet. So I decided to give him a reward every time he brings me a dead rattlesnake or rodent. He has also given me about half a dozen dead rodents.

Once we took in a tonkinese from a neighbor who passed away. He came with a few quirks, one of which was not to cover his poop.
So one time I caught him finishing his business, and as he was walking away I picked him up, sat him next to the litter box and used the poop scoop to cover his turd while he was watching.
He seemed totally perplexed – I'll never forget the look he gave me.😆
And after that he always covered his poop himself. I assume he got separated from his mom too early, so he probably never learned to do that.
