Get a ton of bomb arrows. Climb one of the fir trees to the top. Jump off and aim your bow and time will slow. Then you can just spam him with bomb arrows.

Easiest way to kill Lynels is a gay innuendo. Headshot and then mount them. Rinse and repeat.
Bruh i just used stasis to freeze him then hit him a bunch of times then i went and hid behind a boulder until the stasis recharged

I literally came to youtube to learn how to fight him before i actually did an saw a comment saying back jump when he seings. I did that an beat him on my frist omfg lmfao feel so proud
it probably should have been mentioned that not all Lynels are the same and this one is the easiest one to defeat in the game. When fully armored, he took 1.5 hearts from me. One on the coast hit me for 16 in the same armor.

When I was playing BOTW regularly, the Zora's Domain Lynel was such a wuss !!!! Man, miss my game. Controller and JoyCon went kaput on me a year ago and because of an unfortunate argument between my mom and I, she's not helping me get it back to working order. Even after I tried telling her about a controller-drifting trick that actually works. 😡

just got into the game and had my first lynel experience, was scared asf, but i was not going to let a nintendo switch game make me rage quiet and get the best of me (i died 10 times before i got the dodge right) also i was malding when i was using two handed weapons bc my character wouldn’t get their shield out fast enough before he rocked my shit 😭😭😭
I just got extremely lucky. After trying and failing time and again to either beat this guy or sneak around, I went to load the save state I created before entering his field. I notice an autosave that looked to have happened during the cutscene. I loaded that, and it placed the dude all the way across the field. I didn't even notice him at first. I ran around loudly collecting a bunch of arrows, and only had to sneak to get the last one because it was kinda out in the open. He got curious and started coming over, but that was arrow 20 so I just bolted my ass out of there and paraglided off a cliff right onto the dam by the divine beast lake. 😂
1- Parry his attacks with shield to stun
2- shoot arrow in face while stunned
3- mount and hit until he throws you off
This method doesnt damage your weapons durability either

HOW DO YOU EVEN DO A FLURRY RUSH?
For everyone scared to fight that thing: you dont have to, to do vah ruta. You can sneak around, to get the arrows needed. In total youll only need 4 electro arrows. Either way, the game wants you to have 20 or more. Youll just need wood arrows to fight against the ice. So you can just skip fighting the lynel. Or just buy the electro arrows in shops.

I literally just used 5 mushrooms to make a stealth potion and walked right by him up the mountain and grabbed all the 20 arrows😂
