Why is the Cane Corso not on this list? Also, disagree with German Shepherds being at no.1. They're highly intelligent and loyal dogs who are very obedient when trained well, otherwise why would the police chance using them? No.1 should be pitbulls or bully xl type dogs. They can do terrible damage if they bite, and since they are bloodsport breeds bred for fighting they won't let go when they get into attack mode. Cops shooting at them have struggled to put them down when called to an attack at a house.
My personal experience tells me that even a dachshund can be made a murderer… It is not the dogs that should be subject to restriction, but the owners!!

It's not the breed – it's the owner. We've had three female Rottweilers over the years (one at a time). Each one was raised in our houseful of rescue cats & kittens, & was so sweet & gentle with them. But let a stranger come to our door, and the roaring bark rattled the windows. None of our three girls ever bit anyone, etc. Note: Rotties NEED to be house dogs & live inside with the family. Do not get one and toss it in the backyard. Actually, that's a terrible thing to do to any dog. But Rotties have to be part of the family.
