You got me from the beginning. You mentioned as you aged, you became pickier about where you spent your gaming time. And then you mentioned Assassin's Creed and Dying Light, and Elden Ring. I completely understood, as I played my first Assassin's Creed Game (Black Flag) and really did not enjoy much about it. I also recently tried Dying Light and came away maybe halfway through the game and deleted it from my system. Of course it's subjective, but I thought both of those games were garbage for the most part, though the sailing in Black Flag was enjoyable. And then I got into Dark Souls for the first time. I have now beaten it three times and continue playing it to this day.

Optimization is terrible on PC
I comepletely agree. Super frustrating game, open world and gameplay is so frustratingly slow and boring that I wanna jump up and beat the crap out of the developers who made it. I just don't have any more words to describe the game. I laughed how did you talked about the fast travel and grandma driving system, plus traversal
I loved it but different people like different things just how it is. It's why so many different games exist in the first place. For me this is currently in my top 5 for the year so far.

It was average. I'm now in NG+ and playing on the hardest difficulty and at level 40. The lack of endgame hurts it the most in my opinion, they did promise a free update this November so I'm giving it a chance. In the meantime, back to Nioh 2 for me.
LOL I hated the grappling. The fact that there isn’t like a boost to shoot you in the sky high enough to fly around freely sucks ass. The bat cycle sucks too. I cringed when I started to play. I love the story, but the rest of it sucks ass. It wasn’t worth the $70 🙁
