This is actually my first time seeing the trailer and I can honestly say that I did not expect Bowser’s opposing nation to be composed of penguins from Mario 64, but I’m really not against that at all.
I also wasn’t ready for the personality changes in Mario and Bowser. I was either expecting it to be full Mario and Bowser or full Chris Pratt and Jack Black, but I think they found a really good middle ground between the two.
