I have always been a necro player. One thing that they did that I think is worth emphasizing is that ALL the skeletons are now on one skill. This is a SUPER big deal as it frees up one extra slot for non-summoning skills compared to previous Diablo games. The developers definitely listed to you (or the tons of "yous" that were pointing it out and they have now altered the class. Skeletons are more fragile and do more damage and corpse explosion has been flat out nerfed 🥲 Honestly I am happy about the changes because it sounds like I will be much busier keeping my team up and running than I was in the beta.
Necro always has the same issue. It’s great while leveling, and then eventually on endgame summons start to become too weak or die too easy and you end up having to forgo them and end up just being a bone spear sniper, at which point your just a half assed sorcerer with less mobility.
Going from Druid to Necromancer was night and day in terms of ease of play. I didn't manage to lean into it as much as I'd hoped, but I'd honestly be interested in a necro build that leans heavily into thorns while using shield skeletons and the bone golem (not sure if I'd keep the mages in the build, but likely). With how minions swarm and the golem has a taunt, you could be potentially getting a lot of thorns damage applied to enemies while staying at a safe distance. Especially for larger enemies whose attacks have a much larger hit area, if they're hitting more than 2 skeletons with a sweeping strike or something, they're actually taking more damage from thorns than someone without minions. Have ways of generating corpses to keep your minions health topped up (or other ways to heal them like I believe there's a way to do with blood orbs you generate) and your minions may be able to do most of the work for you even into late game.

I loved being op with the necro.i like not having to have someone else help me to get past dungeons.To me the perfect solo class
Once I got a legendary that gave me essence when I used corpse explosion I replaced my basic attack with it. Used Decrepify>Blood Nova>Corpse Explosion>Blood Mist>Corpse Explosion. Rinse and repeat with Decrepify as needed. Fun times! My goal is to find that one asap again. Nice AOE build afaik. But what do I know? It’s my first go at this game lol

it's great for mobbing and absolute shit vs bosses (see 2:34)
I found the sorcerer to be the most OP by far. The hydras do lots of damage and the hydras cannot be harmed.
When I think of the Necro I remember Gru yelling “Assemble the minions” from the film Despicable Me. Haha

I'm gonna play Necromancer, I was easily leveling and killing everything in the highest difficulty by myself. Shit was fun and easy. There's no way in fuck i'll play any of the other crappy classes. I might make a Druid but I hate the up close and personal classes.

necro since db 3 and 4 is to way over powerfull he's speed run OP not for me,db 4 rogue and druid is more fun for me specially not build as speed run or OP etc that's just how i play and like my games to be like 👍
