It's strange to me. Some dogs (that have aggressive owners) bark at me. Some dogs (that have good owners) want to be pet by me. I take offense when they bark at me. I never liked barking dogs. Too much noise

One day I was taking a garbage pail back to my house, when the mother was walking by taking her daughter and her dog on a play date with another kid. The dog started barking at me like I was the best thing that ever happened to him, and she tried to command the dog to keep following them. It didn't work. Then she tried to call the dog home. That didn't work either. So I followed her while she was walking home in order to get the dog to follow her. She called her husband on her cell phone asking for help dealing with the dog. The man came out and playfully tried to coax the pooch into going with them.
Every time I pass a dog it literally pulls its owner to try and come towards me, I have no idea why . I’ve also had dogs start really aggressively barking at me for no reason 😭 I’m a 5’3 , petite girl and I always wear colorful clothes so I doubt I look threatening so I have no idea why they’re reacting to me like this 🙁

My other dog played along and he became intrigued – now its a daily part of our routine – about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

Most dogs bark at me and I hate it because it triggers my anxiety (I was bitten when I was a kid). But, I believe people are nervous when they met me, I've been said I have a very strong stare, often confused as a psycho stare, so… their dogs react at me. Funny because if they are not present, their dogs want to play with me.

As a Guy I find it weird that I have never had any issues with supposedly aggressive dogs or cats etc. Ever since I was a child I would just approach the animals (usually protection dogs) and they would/will just react positively to me. I've never been bitten or injured, while other men/women have by the same animals? I don't know what I'm doing any different than they are.
Dogs in the park keep coming up to me to say hi and get petted. It’s been happening almost all the time. I wonder why they like or are attracted to me?

It’s really a lot of body language too that dogs pick up on..That’s how they communicate with each other so they are better at redo g out body language than we are of other humans….Example..You are walking your dog and you see someone walking towards you. You grip the leash tighter so your dog won’t jump on the person. The dog feels you holding them back and wonders “wait, why am I being held back? Is this person dangerous?” And the dog will become more aggressive to the stranger….You as the human are the Alpha of your dogs pack, they look to you for food and protection and seek your lead on everything.
Im goth and wesr all black with chains and a black hood, black hair and dark shades. I walk somewhat agressively, just confident I guess. Most dogs bark at me. One owener said I looked threatening and it was because of all the dark and that the dog couldnt see my eyes.

I will take my dog to the park and will be the most friendly pet towards some strangers he’s nvr. met and then with others he will just bark aggressively towards them. My dog has a vet appointment coming up and will speak to them about it. He is up to date w/his vaccine but I’ve just recently started socializing him bc two weeks back he was finally old enough to get his rabies vaccine and majority of his other vaccines. My vet told me not to take him out of the house before then only to use the restroom to keep him safe from mosquitos and other animals and IDK if that was the correct call.
