I think this game will be a big hit among jrpg fans due to its lovely art. Just got my copy and couldn't stop "awwww"-ing at all the illustrations, and bits, and cards, and that rollout map!

I understand why Janis said that you should get the deluxe game, because it does look nice. However, I disagree that you have to get it, because, in my opinion, it's not worth it. As a family game, you don't want it to be crazy expensive. But deluxe costs more than twice the retail. My first Flamecraft game was with a deluxe game and oh boy, it looks amazing, and I was afraid that I will have this "missing" feeling about my peasant (retail) version at home, but I don't. The retail version is awesome as well, and when playing you don't even notice that components could be fancier. Of course, it's nice to have cute minies, wooden tokens, and coins but, the game looks fancy even without them.
