I watched most of the stream and the game ran pretty well 95% of the time. It seemed a lot of people with bad reviews had problems with the shaders not loading correctly and causing stuttering.
watching GGM and WIESS made this look like an action RPG Horror game. Looking at other gamers fail at the mechanics, or simply they failed to be imaginative or be smart with upgrades, seems to be the reason they lower the score.
No idea about reviews for this game, but for me, it seems to lack in immersiveness and detail. The monsters just do the same thing again and again, and you respond in the same way. The environment is pretty much the same all the time, and the game just quickly goes from cool and pretty, to boring and samesame. The monsters should be unpredictable and scary in combat, and you should be terrified to go into melee combat with them. Instead it feels like anytime you meet a monster you know that you have to do the same pattern of clicking 4 repeated times per monster to kill it. Compare that to Dark Souls combat, where even the most basic monster has wierd movement where they suddenly hit you in a frenzy or jump attack just when you thought you had them under control.
I think this game lack in immersiveness, where the story and atmosphere COULD be extremely frightening and intense. Instead it feels like doing the exact same thing with every single monster, and it is never really scary. You KNOW exactly how the monster will behave, you just have to go through the moves.
The graphics and setting is really good though, and maybe the story is great but I can't say since I don't know the full story yet.

From watching you for about an hour the gameplay looked very monotonous and some parts were just walking in a downward spiral for several minutes.
Maybe I just don't like this kind of game.

I loved this game I finished it last night I'm now playing again on Maximum Security difficulty. It's a solid 8/10 for me.I hope a sequel is made.
i have no played it , just watching streamers to play , me personally i found good only the picture of it and graphic , if i put the best space game i ever played i would probably say alien isolation for me is the best.
