it was inspiring to see you did the design on the handheld, it gave me the push I needed to work on my Legion Go. Thanks
Could you give me some tips on working this on modeling on a handheld?
3D printing has changed my world. all those home solutions we need can now be built, and the sense of achievement is insane.
You could add side holes for mac mini with a dock to increase air flow 🙂
I would put the notch to the other side. you will push it from the front way more then you push it from the back.
I know you can just rotate it 🙂
Love that feeling, nice work with the foosball table. That's huges!
Loved the video Dylan! I just sent you an email regarding a partnership proposal, would love to hear back!
Brother… Print some gridfinity for that drawer 😂
Nice work!

years ago, before I bought my first 3d printer, I asked myself "wouldn't this only be one of those dust-catching gadgets that I use once or twice and then regret buying it". but the 3d printer is a magic machine that can bringe you solutions to problems you would have accepted as a flaw without a printer. nowadays I design hooks, and cases, things for my kitchen and my car. recently I have designed a charging station for a vaccuum cleaner. when you start designing, you start to realize, that 3d printing is so much more than figures and dust catchers.
Ever herd of deep tissue in vivo sound printing
Appreciate the honesty of frustration in hobbies that end up layering themselves like albatross bang bus giving you back blows while you struggle to develop one of the 3.14 additional skills needed to do the first thing you we're slightly interested in but can't even recall what it's called.
brother does designing on a rog like a maniac 😭😭
I own a FDM and a Resin 3D Printer (picked up for my totally not nerdy Tabletop Hobby) but as the FDM is sooo useful, 90% on its print hours are from everyday objects. 😀
Hi, have an idea. Why not make room for the M4's round nop at the bottom at the base, so it can't as easily slide out of the holder. When you need to get it out, you lift it a little and drag it out. Just an idea, C ya.
Beautifully shot vid, mate! Subbed 😀

Legend for 3D modeling on the steam deck
Cursed handheld pc 3d modeling. Good idea though
Dude is an absolute Chad and a Scholar for modeling on a PC Handheld. 🤘
2:05 as a German I was so confused to suddenly hear Fußball😂
sculpt on handheld another level flex, mad respect.
AD5Ms are legit. Both of my two main printers are AD5Ms. I actually prefer the base version for some specific and some may say ticky-tack reasons, but price aside the Pro is just a pre-enclosed version of the same exact printer. So I like your choice.
Having said that, upgrades brother. Sure they work as is. But get one of those Bambu style hotends and a BIQU cryogrip plate and you'll turn a good printer into a beast. Oh and of course elephant in the room: Klipper. It's still beta but you'll never have the problems of stock OS, especially if you like to print remotely.
He left links to everything💀
Next video: discovering modeling on a pc after 1 year of ROG Ally 3d modeling
I don't feel like it's making something out of nothing. You're making an object out of another object. The 2nd object is just the filament, but it's not nothing. That being said. Great video, still! 🙂 +1
Can you send me a 3d printer I can’t afford one😂
Cool to hear about your 3d printer journey, but….
Keep in mind that the Mac mini uses its metal case for cooling. And you are now blocking that with a layer of plastic!
Probably okay for light use, but would be better not to cover it.
And if you're printing it in PLA: the PLA may get soft if the Mac Mini gets really hot… (look up "glass transition temperatures")
What if 3d design makes no sense even thou I have the design in my head
How do you find that Flashforge??
noice
I felt so much joy seeing you 3D model from the Asus Rog Ally on the couch!🔥 i got mine just to be able to work on the go as well!
i wish i watched this vid 1 year ago before i bought it
You should do gridfinity for your drawer. I did mine and it's really helpful and everything has a home
modeling on the ally… thats an idea i didn't have. i may try that out at some point.
Modelling on a handheld gaming console = poser.
Modeling on a handheld PC is crazy but looks like a lot of fun
So glad I'm not the only one using the ROG Ally as a printer PC haha
I have my 3D printer ordered 3 weeks ago and it still needs 6 weeks to arrive. Me and my bro learnt CAD and we're so hyped to see our designs come to life. Those 6 weeks are going to be the longest in our life 😂
I think this is tbe first time I have ever seen someone else actually useing FreeCAD (aside for tutorials, etc…) Definitally the first time I have ever seen anyone model on a hand held. Very cool!
Hold up….are u modeling with a ROG Ally? What program are you using? I have Ally too, and I use SketchUp for modeling. But I never thought of using it to 3D model on.
😂 nvm I watched it back it's FreeCAD. Does it nativity pickup the controls? Or did you have to map them?
