When my 11 year old rescue kitty lays on my chest and acts like a new born I feel so fortunate. He also loves to burrow in bed with me and my partner. My other kitty doesn't do the snuggling, he shows love in other ways.

Had to put my kitty down last month. She was 21 with stage 4 kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, and trouble going to the bathroom. She was also somewhat senile as she would become disorientated and howl. For the last 3 years I had to give her intravenous fluids daily. I hated sticking that large needle in her. but she took it like a champ. My heart is still broken because I miss her cuddles and her spending the afternoons on my lap and sleeping with me at night. I feel so lonely without her, she was the sweetest cat and we had a close bond. Now that I'm 71 I don't want to get a younger cat that will outlive me, but an older cat can be so expensive with all the vet bills. I've had cats all my life, but I go back and forth whether or not to get another kitty.

6:31 I have two cats, and they are both absolutely adorable. When is a black cat, and one is a brown and white cat. Their names are mischief and socks. Miss Chief, who is the black cat loves every night to come on my chest before I go to sleep and be stroked and purrs like a motorbike. And the newness is absolutely wonderful. Socks also comes near me. I usually end up like a cat sandwich, mischief on top of me and socks next to me, and I love nothing better than stroking them, both at the same time and listening to stereophonic, purring.
I recently went to visit a friend who’s two hours away, I spent the night at his place and I missed my cats so much, I couldn’t sleep at night! When I got home the next afternoon, I felt that although it was only one night away, I couldn’t wait to get back home to my kitties! I wonder if they missed me too? Lol, either way it’s always good to be home!

I love all six of my cats. I never pick them up I let them come to me. They are all different breeds and they get along really well. If I lost one of them in death I would go and find another to keep the six together, because the other five would miss the cat we don’t have anymore. I have sometimes three cats in bed with me. I would be a huge loss. I love all my furry babies.😊

We won’t mention getting pinned in on both sides at night (in multi-cat homes), fur in the face, and the video conference call bombers. It got so bad, my work online photo is my cat. That’s what everyone sees anyway. 😂
My furbaby is a hug cuddler but he will only cuddle with me. He snuggles with me at night and claims my lap every time I’m sitting down. He’s my little buddy! He also loves me to pick him up so he can snuggle on my left shoulder (always the left) as I walk around.

You forgot how soft that fur is. One of mine does the rounds at night. He goes from me to my daughters and back. Of course, he's not ignored. A little less sleep, but he's so sweet. I think he prefers us awake because once we are up, he settles.

Yes. I have a story to share. I adopted the most wonderful cat in the world 2 years ago at the age of 8. He is such a loving cat, love bug, friendly, even to every one he meets. But, my love bug, last Sunday, had a stroke, or so we thought, labored breathing, front paw went limp, out of the blue, before this, was extremely healthy. Rushed him to the emergency animal hospital, and he was put in an oxygen tank for 8 hours! It was tough. Long story short, he is at home now. Has enlarged heart, extreme arthritis and blood clots. Why!? We do not know. Giving him meds, making him comfortable. He is still a great love bug. It’s been so hard on us. We are taking good care of him. Does not appear to be in pain. My love bug. Best friend in the world. I will hate to lose him.
Twice a day Clyde sits on my chest to head butt me and rub my whiskers with his cheeks. When wake up in the morning he is curled up on my shoulder. So glad he came to live with me.
