Yep. That's how they fleshed out this game: less dungeons, but more side stuff. And I really liked the duet too. I've wanted to learn to play the ocarina since I started playing Zelda games, but we'll see if I ever get around to it. 😛

I've always called the multi-bubbled enemies like the one in Richard's Castle Anti-Faeries, but I could be wrong too. I will be showing off the steal trick once I go back for the bow, but will not actually be using it as I don't want to be called "THIEF" the rest of the game! 😛
