I was hyped about the movie 4-5 months ago. Now it's more like Meh since I've heard things about them like you said.

For me the movie is separate from WOTC. It had 100+ employees that just work on movies and have nothing to do with WOTC. I do not want then to get burned by WOTC. I am going into watching the movie as a fun movie and hoping it is a good action movie. I have my fingers cross soo hard .. i want it to be good.. but movies have disappointed me in the past. hope for the best expect for the worsted. So looking forward to shadowdark!!!

Got my tickets for the movie from a friend for Sunday. Skeptical too. Hopefully it’s halfway decent. Hopefully WOTC doesn’t further ruin the D&D name. D&D is bigger than any one company. We should at least give it a chance. If it bombs, I won’t go to another one. The one that came out in the early 2000’s was horrible. It looks like Guardians of the Galaxy type humor. I was going to go with my D&D group a second time,but we’ll see how good it is. Hopefully they don’t overdo the social justice political soapbox that is so common in entertainment these days. Il will post my opinion of it when you put out the review video.
