shout out to the developers, underrated game for sure, combat and parkour was well integrated , hated the city but that’s a settling issue
This game was such a technical marvel for its time in some respects. Not nearly as appreciated as it should’ve been.
The amount of animations, level design, graphical rendering, and dynamic features was something truly unprecedented. Not to mention the introduction of the greatest naval combat and traversal in video games!
Another 6 months to a year in development and the game could’ve truly achieved its potential. That being said it was still great but it could’ve been even greater.
The intention was in the right place but the Frontier was boring and it wouldn't have taken much to change that. First and foremost, quests and activities need to be discovered and when running through trees they subtlety lead you to these events. IDK what they were thinking with fetch&carry ghost stories and linear hunting missions. Convoy tracking missions and more RPG style quests which are more engaging would've been nice.
What I liked the best as I'm walking through the frontier and I see two cubs playing and having fun and then momma bear comes in to protect her young. So much interaction in this game makes it more believable. 🙂 Or even watching two Bucks go at it with each other, and then killing them for their skin. 8D

I don't know y people don't like Assassin's Creed III. I mean, it is excellent in every sense. It has completely revolutionized the series' old mechanics of just tailing, running, assassinating. And its story is absolutely phenomenal, and its characters more human-like, nt just in terms of graphics, but in emotions. Connor is so awesome, just cuz he makes mistakes, like every other human. The present day is on a whole new level. This game has provided really great ideas for other games to come.

Man, if they would've made good on everything they said this game would be, it could have been amazing. Unfortunately they got lazy and tacked some shit on, streamlined, and rushed it. It could have been a fucking marvel of a game. But nah, it's just mediocre.
I like the way they say they don't force the player to play super stealth although all the shitty optional objectives crap made you play stealth in nearly all the missions.
