Just in case you're still having some confusion abt the classes, basically these are not at all the same dwarves from deep rock galatic, they're an elite unit from the company and so have more advanced equipment. I might be mistaken on the names, but the red is "falconeer" the yellow is "spotter" the green is "guardian" and the white-ish is "slicer". You can check online some infor abt the abilities they have

I think that moving wall is what is know as the greyout and it is the reason you don't carry any weapons with you as most drg equipment stops working after passing through it.

The reason roguelites are not roguelikes is that the whole entire point of a roguelike is that there is no meta progression. It's always the same starting conditions every time.
The meta-progression is that your survivability increases as your knowledge of the game's internal systems and lore increase.
This really only works its best when the game has enough content to keep throwing surprises at you even after many years of playing. Nethack and Caves of Qud are the best examples of this.

the classes are all new. here they are from left to right – slicer, guardian, falconeer, spotter. there were initially planned to be five classes, but there was talk of one being scrapped (gorgon) which checks out based on the trailer.
this was all revealed in a pre alpha showcase a bit ago. also weapons and traversal/support tools can be used by all classes.
