I was going to get sonic frontiers but I preorder hogwarts legacy
Been a fan of sonic for 30 years. But im not a braindead sheep. Im not buying it until at least the first week of hype has died down. Ive learned my lesson too many times.
I also tuned into a stream of the leaked game and tbh it looks like it gets pretty boring after the first hour and the initial hype weara off. Im happy waiting for a sale because i already put my expectations low, but I think a lot of people will be disappointed dropping 60 on this.
I feel what they’re showing is too short and doesn’t show really show what you want to do in the open world when you play. And I feel like game developers that have reviews out a day before the release are unsure of how the public is gonna handle it vs god of war being confident in having reviews almost a week before release

I’m still hoping that Sonic Frontiers get good reviews and I’m hoping that this will be the start of a new Sonic era.

I'm going try it out haven't played a main Sonic game since Lost world,and Unleashed man.
Preordered it, but I Know it will be atrocious.

• green hill, chemical plant, sky sanctuary return AGAIN
• 2d sections in the open zone
• no shadow
• no hyper sonic or equivalent
• no new game plus, no reason to level
• no city island, no return to station square
• endings locked to 100% completion to pad out the game
After spoilers. I'm sure to cancel preorder.
The game came in early yesterday which was weird, but I played it, and the game as a whole did exactly what my fears imagine it would do. The lack of life in the open world, you will become bored after 30 minutes, etc. Now if anyone is a Sonic super fan then maybe this game would be for you, but for those who just want to try something new and step into the game for an amazing experience, I would keep my expectations low.
The News Revealed Yesterday About The Last 2 Islands Being Split From Knonos Is Very Disappointing. It Just Goes To Show That Sonic Team/Sega Still Hasn't Learned Form Their Past Mistakes In Terms Of The Development Cycle.
