Does a build remain strong in the DLC?
How could you upgrade a weapon to +25 so early in the game, before defeating Godrick and entering the capital? i cant find many smithing stone to +25
If you want the best talisman combo use :
Axe talisman, greatshield talisman, dagger talisman and curved sword talisman + in the flask use stonebarb crack tear
And spiked cracked tear.
Use the weapons on quality affinity and after level upping strengh,50 vigor,50 endurance,33 faith, focus on level up dexterity for more damage
I used this build on NG+6 and this was really OP
I have skill issue elden is my first souls game I'm a dad doing typical 9-5 jobs I don't have much time to spend studying movements of the enemies.I like tank or shield role This build really fits my style

For the Noble Slender Sword don’t you get a little more damage going 99 dex and keen as opposed to 99 str and heavy?
Should of done a new playthrough for this experience without Being overpowered in a be game plus the experience is more rewarding
Using this build in ng+7 and it is crazy! I’m just using the bull goats talisman instead of the dagger one, I’m also using flame grant me strength and a dagger with golden vow

The great helm looks better for a build like this. Right 😊 doing shield and sword no paganism build literally the most fun build I've ever done. No spells. No talismans. No great runes. I slapped the fox and rannala pretty hard. Also, the draconic tree sentiental gets slapped pretty hard as well.
why 99 strenght and not 80 so you get high vigor
By the way, if youre running summons with this build, id siggest the stormhawk deenh summon. When it screeches near you, itll give you a buff to your stance damage. Also, just curious carlos, why not the curved sword talis for this build?

2:15 I think I've seen this myth elsewhere that shields don't benefit from being upgraded. The guard boost stat increases. Some people say it increases guard counter dmg. What it really does is reduce the stamina drain from blocking. Brass shield goes from 56% to 69% which is very nice. A 41% increase in blocking effectiveness with regards to stamina. The affinities seem to reduce this back to 56 (bug?).
Maybe this is why people think shields suck. They leave them at level 1. Imagine you left weapons at level 1

As of july 2nd 2024 the noble's slender sword cannot have the heavy affinity while also equipping the royal knight's resole. I am a bit dissapponted but its still ok i suppose…

Royal Knight's Resolve is not heavy, it's type is quality and attribute scaling dex and str. Why?
