Apple’s move away from Intel to its own chips has ultimately unlocked new possibilities for businesses using Apple hardware in modern enterprise environments. One of the clearest examples of that potential is LambdaTest’s new partnership with MacStadium, which makes me wonder if there’s an opportunity for a new Xserve.

I was really excited to see this partnership. I toured one of MacStadium’s data centers a few years ago, and the team is all in on Apple. LambdaTest isn’t kicking the tires here, either. They’re already putting Apple Silicon to work in production. It’s not a someday thing. It’s already happening. I’m just spitballing here, but it feels like an Apple Silicon Xserve could be an easy win as a new revenue source for Apple in the enterprise.
