The more I think about it the more it saddens me because I genuinely believed David could have been a successor to Ron Perlman’s Hellboy. He really got the loose end of the stick by receiving such a mediocre script and writing to work with. Not to mention the added studio interferences and dramas on set.

They should have smooth skinned David Harbour out more. A small detail they messed up like Sonics eyes before the internet told em to fix it. $5 mil went into fixing sonics eyes and it saved the movie. Hellboy had a love interest, 2019 Hellboy should have been sexier. David isn't a bad looking dude so they had a lot to work with. Very sad.
