Don't care about what you say about the audio and voice acting I absolutely love it they definitely put in their all in the roles as the characters in the game i love their performance especially Roger Craig Smith sonic voice he definitely sounds a bit deeper to his natural voice then when he started with his surfer dude voice he definitely is giving his all with this game and he definitely did a fantastic job voicing him and I love his voice as him in it same with the rest of the cast too Colleen as Tails is still great as always as Tails and Cindy as Amy is amazing love her voice as Amy she did a great job Mike Polke as Eggman is still as awesome as ever there's a good reason he is still voicing Eggman since 2003 with Sonic x he just so awesome as the eggman and he definitely is awesome as Eggman and he is awesome as him and the new voice actor for Knuckles Dave he definitely did a great job voicing him glad he didn't tried to voice match Travis willingham voice of Knuckles he did his owned knuckles voice and I am so amazed of his voice he really is just so awesome as knuckles and he just did a great job at voicing him and of course last one Ryan as Sage she is awesome as her love her roles in other anime and games she did a amazing job voicing her in this new game she did a great job with her emotion moment and her voice as her is amazing I love her role and definitely want to see her again in the future so yeah I love the audio and voice acting in this game and the music is awesome too sonic just always have amazing songs in the games always so awesome so yeah love the voice acting in the game it really fits and it's really awesome definitely the best ever and it's not bad it's really awesome voice work and I am tired of what people say about their voice roles they are giving their best as them in the games and they aren't going away either I love their roles as them and definitely wish them the best of luck with the future of the series with them voicing in the games so yeah I love the audio and voice acting
I think the problem is the price. I understand it's not going to run as well on Switch but then why do I need to pay the same price for the Switch version as the PS5 or XBOX. It should be cheaper.

The frame rate is what is most impressive to me. A drop to 27 isn't something I would consider a big deal. For me, 27-31 fps is steady and playable. Excellent dive into the game in such short notice 🤘
Nice to know it runs well on the Switch, I got the game on Series X but I may be tempted to pick up the switch version too if I see a good deal on it

Anyone else noticing that sonic will often veer to the right when starting a boost style stage? I have the steering sensitivity turned all the way down and it’s not making a noticeable difference.
I think the big issue with them promising the exact same experience on all platforms means they don’t go as hard on pc as I wish they did especially the lock to 60 fps in a modern game

Typically I don't go for sonic games but I must admit from what I'm seeing here I'm definitely intrigued. I can definitely see myself picking this up on a decent sale
Man I gotta say your gameplay looks a bit better than what I saw on my TV. So I suppose my Visio is somewhat to blame for the blue. Technically speaking, this game is rough. I hope they can improve it with updates. Maybe do what The Outer Worlds did and rework some of the textures and assets, but if pop-in is bad on every system, maybe there’s more to it than that. Pop-in doesn’t even happen in the distance it happens right next to you. Or sometimes you get de-pop-in. What’s the opposite of pop in lol? Plants just disappear next to you. Not that this wasn’t expected.
I don’t think the action mode is a difficulty, rather a configuration of the settings. You can change these from the menu anytime by increasing sonics speed and handling. Very impressive all of the speed change as you can make. They had to partially think of this like they would a racing game.
I’m digging it though, definitely the most epic sonic game.

They should treat sonic like the old Tony Hawk games the levels should be playgrounds designed to encourage speed and runs this looks like its close

I'm about 4 hours in playing on PC. I agree about the voices, Sonic and Amy sound like totally different characters especially sonic who is a couple octaves too low. Must've hit puberty. But the game itself is pretty solid so far.
Idk if IGN had an early build where there wasn't much in the open world but playing it for myself now there's stuff everywhere and it kinda all leads into each other. Little disappointed in the cyberspace/classic levels so far though because those are only about a minute long each. Could've aimed for two minutes at least.

Terrible game, especially on switch, low frame rate, blur, visibility, open world design is the worst! It's like this game made by 10 people who didn't coop at all. Someone took default free 3D assets and randomly scattered them all over the map, you will find objects in objects – a lot boxes in trees etc. not fits with the environment, empty and soulless open world. (They tried to create Zelda from platformer and obviously failed!) 3/10
That’s done it. Just placed my order on the switch. Was waiting for your thoughts before deciding on Switch or Xbox but prefer handheld play on Switch so the fact it’s more than playable as sealed the deal👍
