Everything is boring with a cataclysm build!
The Grind if F'n terrible. and for that reason I've stopped playing. I don't enjoying having to play all the time to try and get maybe 1 item u need. So for that reason I've uninstalled the game. The game is made to suck the life out of u so you don't have one. The game makes you so focused on wasting your time on something that adds zero value to your life, while those around you actually progress and do something with their lives, while you're still farming 24/7 just get to get gem fragments.

As someone who just came back after season 1 I’m still figuring everything out n grinding. I will say loot is insanely plentiful and I love that. Figuring out where to grind what I need n how to put it together is time consuming but I’m greatful for the community being cool enough to let me just lag along

Some mechanics are in a great spot—there’s a solid grind, and while the seasonal mechanics feel somewhat familiar, they’re actually well-executed. The gameplay is fun and offers plenty of room to experiment, though, of course, meta builds are already dominating again.
But—and it’s a big but—the experience feels short-term right now. I already swapped over to D3’s new season, and after that, I might check out PoE2 again or just wait for Monster Hunter Wilds.
It’s a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s nice to have a quick, enjoyable experience, but on the other, it’s disappointing that there’s no real long-term progression curve. Gear barely matters in the first half of the game, and when it finally does, it only matters for a very short window—right until you’ve collected everything and cleared all content.
In my opinion, The Pit needs a proper ladder system, basically a straight-up copy of D3’s Greater Rift leaderboards. We also need a more fluid mapping system—something like chaining Nightmare Dungeons without having to go back to town. Just pop the next sigil and boom, you’re into the next dungeon.
Dungeons need to have rare, exciting mechanics—think PoE-style Breaches but with actually meaningful rewards, even for top-tier players. There should also be items so rare that even the no-lifers can’t cheese their way to them through gifting or trading. Something like Vaal Orbs could shake up the endgame too—a way to take a near-perfect item and either push it into god-tier or completely brick it.
I’d love to see them slow down leveling again, tone down the zoom-zoom playstyle, and bring back more impactful combat. At the same time, I do enjoy quick bursts of fun where I can play multiple games instead of committing to just one.
That said, this is the best version of D4 we’ve had so far… but it’s still not there yet. So yeah, I’m both smiling and a little sad.

i kinda like the drop rate of gem fragments atp, i think it's the exact right spot, reaching the highest is actually a grind ^^ we need more stuff like this in the game, hard to obtain but actually reachable without having to play for 1 million hours a week …
Blizzard claims their game is for casual players, so why not balance all classes equally? Nerfing builds like Ball Lightning, Frozen Orb, Hydra, and Firewall every season is frustrating. Sorcs face this almost every time, while Spiritborn faced it once. As paying customers, sorcs deserve better. Blizzard really outdid themselves this season, they nuked the sorc, I don't even think nerf is the right term.

New player here. Only played S6 and S7. After story the game is just boring. Every build ends up being getting a burst aoe. The concept of progression is absent in this game.
season 7 i didnt even try. s3 half a day, season 6 was boring as shit cause u could only play spiritborn and maybe necro but necro is boring as shit and slow and too much set up . and spiritborn has only 3 builds, thorns, evade and all the other builds are legit the same with the same abilitys just with a diff core ability. S6 i dropped after a week cause there was nothing to do and there was no point in playing any other class.
Blizzard said they want to bring every build of every class to an even point so u can play what u have fun with and like. When will that happend or is that just lipservice as per usual ? This season is most likely not the only Season im gonna skip till they fix their balancing, add endgame and replayability, have some hard bosses and stuff to do. Poe2 bossfights are so good why is Diablo4 so fucking hard casual. Cause the casuals bring the money and are the masses. Can legit play D4 without paying attention and i dont die. Trash game imo.
I feel like the best way right now to get the runes you really need are to trade with other players. Which in my opinion is a bad thing. I want to earn them but I don't want them to feel impossible to obtain solo grinding.
Kids, dont do drugs. This is what overdosing on copium looks and sounds like, you'll start lying about play time and delude your self into enjoying the most braindead grindy season mechanic. Doing Grim Favor Dungeons are the fastest and easiest way to et Cove's Favor, you'll have an dungeon done by the time you've done 1 escort quest in the season zone and get 3x the rep.
I was watching your videos here and there back when elden ring was still fresh and despite all this time passed you still havent upgraded your video quality to at least 1440p option despite all revenue you are getting, that you should be able to have monster machine for editing/rendering videos huh? some things never change.
Did I encounter a bug or just miss something in the menus? I had to do the mission to get my class features on both characters I've done even though I have characters that have completed the missions previously.
