The neon lights look nice, but I think arkham knights rain physics were better?
I really wanted to like this game. I'm just not seeing it with this one.
It makes me look forward to hopefully playing as batman, with a counter button, in the next arkham game.
It's definitely nothing like Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk at it's core was and is still a good game. This is not that. I recently replayed spider-man and Arkham Knight and my god the difference is insane. Gotham Knights is most similar to these games and it manages to do everything worse in every aspect.The open world is just meh, traversal is bad, quest design is god awful, Visuals are pretty bad but not complete garbage, optimization is terrible, story is actual decent, and the combat is just bad. I mean I can understand why people don't like the game because it's fundamentally bad from the ground up. This game took about 6+ years to make and this is what they made. It's so lackluster and poorly designed for an open with a strong focus on combat/narrative. And it's totally reasonable to compare this to other games because at the end of the day these games need to live up to a standard and games like Spiderman and the Arkham series are the standard so when something doesn't even come close to reaching that level it's gonna get ripped apart by fans. Can you still have fun in this game? Of course and there is nothing wrong with that, but the game is still very flawed.
