BOTW or TOTK. I never played any and I want to get the best one
just started playing echoes on switch 2, I bought it for my original switch but couldn't play it with all the framerate issues. Thankfully runs perfect on Switch 2.
So 10 min just to say it runs smoother and looks sharper. Cool lol. Appreciate the info though
Shame I have to pay for the upgrade, but this is really impressive still. It was hard to play totk with constant fps drops in some areas.
I shelved Tears of the Kingdom because I was sick of giving Nintendo the pass for putting out games that run at 18FPS.
Maybe now i'll give it another shot when I pick up a Switch 2.

As a PC user that plays everything maxed out at 140fps, it makes a WORLD of a difference 😭 bless the Switch 2's performance, 60fps should be the bare minimum standard for every game
4:15 MSAA would be impossible, these games use deferred rendering.

BOTW was overrated on Switch 1, and it is certainly overrated on S2. A totally boring farming and hunting SIM, with frequently breaking weapons discouraging battles.

I would argue that the upgrade actually is transformative. I have played those games to death and on launch day on Thursday, couldn’t put BOTW on Switch 2 down – so much so that i didn’t actually play Mario Kart until the next day. I was just blown away by the smoothness and general aesthetic on a 4K tv and combined with starting a brand new game, has invigorated my interest in this again. Great video.

Imagine switch 2 recently released only capped 60 fps, meanwhile high-end pc can produce 144 fps+ more few years ago for this game and on emu.
