Ubisoft sh0t their foot and say, "how about another one?"
And let's discuss the real problem with Ubisoft…
The Company was so Bloated. Too many employees just to make undercooked games.
Oh no, the devs who made slop for 20 years might lose their jobs, how tragic. I hate how devs get a free pass man. They were happy to work at Ubisoft and do the low effort work and they are just as bad as the corpos as far as I'm concerned. This isn’t the foundling era of gaming, they have literally thousands of companies to pick from but they chose Ubisoft.
Assassin’s Creed used to be such a beautiful game, can’t believe it’s gone so downhill. After they killed Desmond the story became so pointless
They ruined Assassins Creed long time ago….
This new assasins creed is a shitty wanna be of Ghost of Tsushima. They got beat at their own game literally and metaphorically
We need more honesty about sales. I don't want to hear numbers about users or players. I what to know how many people spent money to play a game so I can track actual sentiment and make a judgement.
Haven't bought a ubisoft since farcry 3 uplay is a garbage tier app I will continue this tradition
…And missed
A battle pass along with other microtransactions in a single-player game…. It's not a good sign at all, no matter how you choose to spin it.
this video is off. for one a lot of those 2 million players are likely using the ubisoft subscription service they are already using, so not direct sales. And even if those 2 million were sales, for a AAA game with this amount of marketing put into it, that would barely break even. This is a dud, especially when compared to the numbers of previous releases.
Well im starting to think that we actually deserve what's happening to us, i mean we talk about how almost every game is a slop yet play games like assassin's creed. That game had a soul back then, now ? İts all about levels, gear and GRİND.
Please share the music used! Has a Mass Effect vibe
say what you will but a game is not (and never has been) about wasting someone's time giving them what they want! A game was always about posing a challenge, and giving the player enough of a motivation (via story, achievements, win conditions etc.) to do their best to overcome it! This is what games have been about since the dawn of time!!! The very statement that "AC is a game for everyone" proves that Ubisoft execs have absolutely no clue what gaming is all about… same goes for 99% of reviewers and "experts"
>Assassins creed
>No assassins
>no creed
??????
If they wanted to make a black guy killing japanese game, they didn't need to put "assassins" in it's name.
Hmm .. once the holding is set up I give Ubisoft about 5 years before it completely disappears. Let's hope they set up before the lawsuit. tho
Frankly, the Animus pipeline system thingy sounds less like CoD, more like Bethesda single engine for every game, and that Halo one where they updated the old games and put it in one hub, Master Chief collection I think? Frankly, that doesn't sound like all that bad of an idea, especially if they do actual expansions for the old games and not just Horse Armor.
I hope you take constructive criticism, you yap too much about the same topic i found you 3 weeks ago and i thought hey and interesting video but then you released the same mumbling videos about ubisoft for the past month, im not gonna spend my time watching the same thing every few days, i understand that it gets you clicks cause its a big topic right now but there is a point where you become annoying
What do you mean IF SHADOWS IS A WASH?
Shadows is shit, simple as that.
Wait so ubisoft is failing because all they make is the same open world slop over and over… So they bet the company on an open world.,.. oh my
Just looking at the comments you can see the hill that needed climbing. Bunch of clowns.
CHAD THUNDERCOCK MENTIONED
Imagine if they actually focused on Xdefiant instead of games that are flopping
To be fair most people probably just buy 1 month Ubisoft+ for about 8$ to be able to play Ac shadow instead of paying the full price
Honestly, one of the things killing these studios is the gamepasses.
Anyone remember Dagger Fall? There were all kinds of ways to play that game too. I remember loving the fact that I could climb just about anything as long as my climbing skills were high enough. That was before the whole 'you can only climb on highlighted yellow paths' thing, where climbing was a whole system. It was a very early sand box style game. I know this kind of scope is out of reach of most developers but I think there is room enough in gaming for games like this. A lot better than realistic horse pooping.
Stadia! … how old is this video?!
Interesting. It seems that an existential threat is the one thing required to get a polished product out of a major publisher. Guess we should try that more often.
i'll buy Shadows when it's 10$…MAYBE….probably not.
Had the words "shill" and "grifter" not lost all meaning this would be the moment to use them. Pathetic.
Duuuuuude, My tinfoil is itching man.
I'm betting AJ Investors paid off some no name influencers and the big ones picked up on it and agreed with the yasuke shit, not realizing that that wasn't the biggest issue but the misuse of iconography, and shrine damage. the latter they fixed.
But they kept pushing and pushing up until release, and now they haven't said shit.
if it really mattered would they?
Having "cannon mode" is an admission that your dialog trees are utterly pointless. This is not a positive addition to the game, it is just pointing out that the game is utterly linear and pretending not to be.
Bellamy bro, you just sold me on the game I can play as the girl and just play as the assassin. I didn’t know that thanks bro. I’ll try it out when it’s on sale. Lol
Combat is no longer feeling awkward. I like stealthing around with Naoe and smashing people with Yasuke. Both approaches doesn't feel awkward. I'm still getting nightmare flashbacks from AC1/2 when a stealth game had awkward stealth and moronic combat… and every game till shadows was this weird amalgamation of awkward stealth and out of place combat. Now both stealth and combat are okay, not like something super amazing but good enough not to feel out of place.
Stadia doesn't exist for a long time, what are you talking about? 🤣
If Tencent buys them we can expect more micro transactions.
This is not Game … its platform…… Iam not buying platform. Btw why are you shilling for Ubisoft? You sound like AC made bank. They did not.
Chad Thundercock here, but please give me dialogue. I'm holding off on this, though, because I have zero interest in any game with base-building as a required system. Looking at you FO4… but anyway, if it's required, this is not a game for me. If it's entirely optional, I'm interested in the bull-in-china-shop method of playing it. I'm not huge on stealth in games. I get frustrated too easily when I keep getting caught and have to restart a section. Just let me wreck it, that's way more fun to me.
Why are you pushing this bad game?
