Dude no way, Rome In A Day is great. A I split you choose game that can be played during a lunch break that has some interesting decision space but still a bit of luck so the best player doesn’t always win, makes it so approachable and welcoming for so many people I introduced it to. Is there a better I split you choose game you prefer Alex? I liked “New York Slice” and love “Hanimikoji”, but would love to hear you opinion. Great vid as always!

I recently placed a game called ClipCup Parks which seems very similar to Digsaw but might fix some of your problems with it – the pieces you cut are put on tetris-style personal goal cards. There were definitely some house rules that we thought of which could improve the overall game play but it was more enjoyable than Digsaw!

Sail is a much loved game in the trick taking community so I would say this is not a typical opinion for that game. But also you may need to be a TT enthusiast to appreciate the design. It was originally a Japanese game called Hameln Cave and Allplay brought it over and updated a few things, including the theme and art. They are bringing over a lot of cool Japanese games which is awesome. Japan in particular is leading the trick taking renaissance with tons of new TT games releasing every year.
Felt the same about Diced Veggies. Played twice and culled. Not having kids to play with didn't help! As for Sail, we demoed it at PAX and just wanted to like it so much, but the rules felt too clunky to enjoy.
