When the only meaningful difference between this gen and last gen is textures (maybe resolution), you know "next gen" is fake news. Sad news.
I really respect the use of alternate visual choices (tables with different designs, the use of enclosed bridges to hide the outside enviromment) instead of just forcing the same environments to be included at low quality.
I found this game for the Xbox series S so old Gen and wow it’s like Fallout Newvegas graphics, safe to say it’s better on new Gen
Imo, there didn't need to be a last gen version. Virtually little reason to get a PS5 or Xbox Series. This has been the most pointless gen with how many cross gen games we've seen

Unfortunately the Xbox One and Xbox Series versions are separate games and no upgrade is available. (I thought that was mandatory for Xbox now?) As a XB One owner I'll hold off until I've upgraded.

Who is still buying new games for old generation? It’s time to upgrade fellas. New PS5/Xbox have been out 3 years and are no longer new. You’re keeping the game industry behind.
I'm not surprised the devs stopped putting more effort into Xbox one ports (even the X ports). because Microsoft dropped support for the consoles. whereas sony is still supporting their ps4s, and the player base there is a lot bigger. its sad though, the One X could have had a much better experience. to quote "in January 2022, Microsoft stopped manufacturing all Xbox One consoles, including the Xbox One X and Xbox One S. This means that used markets, where prices can vary wildly, are now the primary ways to buy this console."
I think those rendering issues would be solved by upgrading to an ssd or at the very least minimized drastically.
8th gen gamers are probably the luckiest. Their consoles are being actively supported by the majority of developers even almost 3 years after the new gen has been released. I don't think this has ever happened in the gaming industry

A friend of mine purchased it for his PS4 Pro.
The way he describes it is FAR worse than this analysis shows.
He says game is phenomenal and while he can somewhat tolerate texture loading problems,the pop-in on the outside is ruining game experience to the point where he might stop playing until hopefully he gets PS5 someday,but because of his problems in real life,that day is VERY far off,IF it happens at all.
