So I struggled with this for a minute, and decided to test a theory.
Simplified, you want to click while inside, and flick yourself outside, if your timing is right it should craft without spending the resource. I'll have to wait until I get home to test if this works without the pillar. I didn't even need to make my guy shake, it's similar enough to the current oblivion remastered inventory duplication glitch, just slightly more complicated.

i learned about the dupli glitch after i did 70% of research using the cores, while only getting them from expeditions. duplicating them is so much faster

Is there a way to make the shaking easier to trigger? On PC mine doesn't shake at all no matter where i go on that area of the pole under that slat
