Oh girl… I've got 3 cats. The 2 females still don't get along well. Hopefully soon they'll be friends
My 9 month old GIGANTIC 11 lb kitten sees my 5 yr old female, 6lb Sphynx as a toy. How do I get him to stop playing so rough with her? She has no fur for bite/scratch protection and he easily overpowers her and she cries. It's not aggressive on his part, he just plays way too rough. Help! She cries when he pounces on her and bites her.
Thank you so much for this. I know it's old, but tested methods don't change. My two babies came from the same litter and I know with puppies it's a dominance thing, but I haven't had 2 kittens before.
Ok this was really useful. I can sleep well tonight – might even purr a bit.
Thank you this is so helpful I’ve been looking for the answer for this specific situation for days
Thank you for this. Put my mind to rest and your kitten is the same as mine ❤️
My kittens are a month old and the youngest baby boy broke his arm bc they are sooooo aggressive and literally claw, bite and jump on each other but like baddddd
This is exactly the video I was looking for thank you for the great explanation! I just adopted two kittens that are littermates and they play fight all the time. I’ve noticed it’s all fun and games for them because both of their ears are up while fighting and their claws aren’t out. The smaller one does make loud noises sometimes while their play fighting and I’m thinking oh god what just happened. Then I realized oh he’s fine and they’re playing again!
Im scared that the older one is going to overpower and hurt my other tinier kitten, ones 2 months and just started eating hard food, and the other one is 3 months and like a half, and i feel like the older one is going to hurt the ting one
I adopted one of my cats in December at 3 months old. He was an only child till recently. I adopted a cat that was only born one day apart from him so they'd be the same age a few weeks ago. I tried the entire "safe room" method but he kept escaping out and my resident kitty kept going in every time I tried to visit him. It literally sounds like they are murdering each other some days. But then when I try to put them in separate rooms they meow till they are back together… I live in a 3 story house so plenty of space. Their tails will poof up and ears go back so I think that's fighting and try to stop it but they won't give each other a break. Any advice? Is that fighting or should I just let them go at it even though it sounds horrible sometimes
So I have a one year old male and I just adopted a 6 week old female, we kept them separated for a little bit because even the sight of her made him aggressive towards her. The male ended up spraying on a lot of things, and eventually running off for a day. After he came back he seemed to be a bit more accepting, he wasn’t as aggressive and he wasn’t hissing or putting his ears back anymore. I just don’t know that they’re doing anymore. The female kitten will jump and play with him and sometimes bite his ear, then he makes a sort of chirping purring sound, and does the same to her. They swat at eachother, and nip on each others faces . The problem is, I don’t think my older cat knows when to stop. The kitten has pieces of her fur missing on her face because of the male pinning her to the ground and biting. I thought this was a territorial thing, but they won’t stop. And he doesn’t seem to let her go until I intervene. Then after I move away, they both just get back to it again. I keep my kitten in a kennel at night because I’m afraid he’ll hurt her.. What should I do?
I have a 4.5 month old black cat (much like yours) and a recently adopted stray – about 7-8 weeks. It'll probably be hard to diagnose without seeing them in person, but hoping you can provide some tips
Whenever we put them together, they seem to start off fine – however the playing generally results in my oldest chasing around the little one, and constantly pinning him down. The little one lets out a little scream every time this happens, however sometimes he jumps back up and wants to start the fight again.
How do i get my older cat to back off when he takes it overboard? Usually have to get myself in between because he wont stop (even to loud noises). P.S. They've been together almost 2 days now.
Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂
I just got 2 kittens which were born roughly the same time in the same house but from different mothers. 1 was the runt of the litter but has the biggest of attitudes compared to his bigger 'brother'. They are basically inseparable and being 2 toms i thought they would have problems but they constantly play fight then cuddle up together straight after. The bigger one Larry has issues with retracting his claws and can have them out while playing but its not aggression i dont think.
Oh wow ok. Well I just stopped my 5/6 week old fosters from fighting bc I thought they were being too rough, but I guess I’ll just let them go at it lol. They were “growling” but not hissing.
I’m a first-timer 🙋🏻♀️
Sona now that the cat n the kitten play with him
My cat gave birth to 2 kittens who are 1 month 14 days old today. They keep fighting between themselves so much that they scream sometimes and one of them also have bite marks on its neck…
Is it normal? Can I do something to improve? Please help
Someone please tell me how to stop my kittens aggressive play, I cannot even pet him and discipline is nothing to him, he attacks my girl friends and he’s only 2 and a half months old, he has plenty of toys no cat house right now due to me moving states, but it’s getting really bad I can’t hit him obviously his breeder told me flick him when he bites me but it doesn’t faze him at all and if he’s upset and I pick him up he attacks me. My own kitten has gotten the best of me he eats off my plate regardlessssss of what I DO and I fix his own meals and I even season it a bit to taste like human food but he eats my meat or I get beat, I’ve never had a kitten like this he’s Norwegian forest idk if that has a factor please reply… anybody 😭
My kittens fought very aggressively today and if one of them moves they make this wild cat noise and some of them fought terribly what should I do?is this normal?
thank you this could help my kittens if they are fighting or not
I'm fostering 3 kittens and 2 of them were like squaring up on each other, back arched, tail straight, fur fluffed up, and hissing, and I tried sound but I couldn't get their attention, and I let them go after a stern talk about how their brothers and they need to get along and they started playing as usual but then they started actually fighting (I know the difference with them) is that normal? I'm concerned cause those two are being adopted together and I'm keeping the other one which is the runt.
I hate this. I've been so worry cause i thought there where fighting so bad :c But i would let them be them. I adopted them together but are not from the same mom. One was found alone and the other one with her hole pack but all injure. I love them to dead but it gets to my nervs
Hey I am currently dealing with this and don’t know what to do – at what age did you introduce them? I have a 3.5 month old that I’ve had since she was 8 weeks and then a week ago I adopted a 6 week old… and the older kitten is being so rough with the younger one I usually do break it up with a loud noise. Should I not have them play until the baby is older?

Hi.
My cat hates it when people carry her, i wish she was very affectionate…
awe! she’s got the same white spot that my eppy did! eppy passed away so long ago now… but she was the best cat.
she was the funniest – most laid back cat ever.
she was fast & knew I wasn’t a runner, so for fun she’d run just out of reach, stop and when I got just close enough to * maybe * reach her… do it again.
Look exactly like my kitten 🐱😍
Its been crazy for me since the beginning of November. That why I haven't been able to watch your video lately. I had a lot on my plate. My husband and I just wanted to stop by to wishes you and your family and your beautiful cats a Merry meowest Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year. 🌲🤶❄💚☃️🎅❤🐱🎄
Why does my cat not notice me?! Runs away from me, when I pick him up he just runs and hides from me!
And thanks for all the help🙂
I like to joke that my two are having a hardcore match. They literally sound like they are murdering eachother but when I separate them, they desperately want to be together and once they're done, they cuddle and groom eachother.
So happy to see you opened up your heart to more furry babies after your terrible loss. I know it's the hardest thing to do but one can only be proud of the amount of courage you have to have to give love to the babies who deserve it so much even after being hurt through loss. Kudos and sending love and prayers ❤
He got real big real fast.thanks for another helpful video..we all appreciate you…Kisses from Texas
"Look at my super cute butt". Your kittens are so beautiful. Great video, Savannah. Hugs from Norway.
